Water ionizers first filter the tap water through one external and two internal filters, then ionizes and alkalizes it so that it's the best alkaline/ionized/energized water available. This drinking water has exceptional hydrating qualities; the ability to deliver nutrients more efficiently at the "cellular level"; and actually helps detoxify the cells.

This is not so much due the alkalinity as it is to the fact that it creates "micro-cluster" water. This means that instead of clusters of 13+ molecules clustered together, you generate clusters of 5 to 6 and being much smaller, are now much more absorbent and effective at the cellular level... Example, a sponge has small holes in it and will absorb water that is smaller in size than the hole in the sponge. If the water clusters were larger than the holes in the sponge it would be repelled from the sponge. Same goes for the cellular receptor sites in the body. If the water clusters are "bigger" than the "holes" in the cells it will be repelled. Thus, the "smaller" the clusters the better the water is absorbed and the better hydrated, healthier and more vibrant the body becomes.
